Alcione Residence - Positano

Great views from balcony - small residence so not alot of rooms - breakfast was wonderfull

The room was big, and we had a particularly nice view of sea.

Alcione was extremely comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough to please. Fernanda booked a ferry to Sicily for us when we had difficulty with the booking. She also booked excursions and arranged for drivers to take us to different locations in comfortable air conditioned cars - beats taking the crowded bus when the temperature is around 35 degrees! Breakfast was amazing. Luisa greeted us each morning with a lovely smile wgen she brought breakfast to our room. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day.Location is great and the views spectacular. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially the young lady who brought the breakfast. A huge thank you to Alcione Residence for a lovely and memorable stay! We will never forget the amazing view from our room! If we ever return to Positano, and I'm sure that we will, Alcione Residence will be our first choice again.

Alcione Residence is a wonderful b&B. I highly recommend it. Our room was all that we asked for and more. Very spacious, beautiful tiles, tastfully decorated, and had a built in kitchen. The views were absolutely breathtaking. The staff were all very helpful and accomodating and spoke very good English. The b&b is a short walk from the Sita bus stop which is very convenient especially when traveling with luggage. The breakfasts were delicious and filling...and extra special since they are delivered directly to your room where you can eat out on the balcony enjoying the gorgeous views.

The only downfall was the uncomfortable mattress.

The balcony overlooking the sea was amazing.

I had my expectations set high, but the reality was different. The apartment we received was situated away from the main building, leaving us disappointed with a view that didn't match what we had booked. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, affecting our sleep throughout our stay, and when we asked the staff for help, they could only offer a thin blanket as a solution.

It is in a great location (once youaje the long uphill hike from the ferry). If you ate coming by Sita bus it is much easier to access. The viewis great and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The bed was the disappointing part as one side was much different from the other side. Also there is no English tv as advertised, but we weren't there to watch tv. Breakfast was served on your balcony in the morning and it was filling, but there were no protein choices, which is fairly standard.

We loved everything about our stay at Alcione Residence. Our large patio with an amazing view. The service was friendly and very prompt. Continental breakfast served every morning at your selected time on our patio. The staff was very helpful with whatever we needed. We would definitely stay there again.

The only thing we didn't like was the very firm beds, but most places we've seen or been to in Italy all had very firm beds. And they're twin bed beds put together.

Neat room and spacious bathroom with a bidet, shower caps and bath sheets.

Wi-Fi was a bit slow.

I would like to say it was the best stay ever!! Really really kind and clean and comfort !! Indeed, it was literally the best view of positano from our balcony! The balcony was huge and gorgeouse garden like. Also, the manager up graded our room to suit room which was the best room. All for this for just surprise! we barely even got out of the room. Even cooking own meals and dining at the big terrace table with wine with most romantic view. Breakfast is served to your own room,you can also choose the time and style,very fresh and delicious. Ah, the location was just perfect as well as you want to hang out town. I hope we can go there again. It was most remarkable holiday in my life. Especially for a Beautiful perfect honeymoon spot!

Wonderful staff, great location...just remember, Positano is ALL hills!

Best terrace ever!

The view from our room was mind-blowing, . The staff was super friendly, and they kept the place clean every day. We loved sipping wine on our terrace while watching the sunset. The outdoor dining area was a nice touch too. Honestly, the only bummer was that the washer didn't dry our clothes fully.

Everyone was happy to see you, eager to help you and make your stay as perfect as possible. We appreciated the views and how quiet the hotel was. The breakfast on a tray in your room every morning at a time you decided was beyond perfect. We would stay there again if we were stopping over in Positano.

Nothing was wrong with it and everything was right with it.
